At Novaro we design learning experiences that create lasting behavioural change. Our learning approach is grounded in contemporary research on adult learning, neuroscience and organisational development, combining theory with embodied, experiential and reflective practices.

We believe that people learn most effectively when they actively engage both mind and body. Research consistently shows that movement, tactile engagement and creative activity significantly enhance attention, memory retention and transfer of learning into practice. Likewise, studies demonstrate that sustained passive attention typically declines after 45–60 minutes. For this reason, all Novaro programmes are intentionally structured around short learning cycles, frequent breaks and varied activities that activate both the analytical and creative capacities of the brain.

Our learning environments integrate physical and mental exercises, creativity, play and structured reflection. Participants engage in a dynamic mix of individual and group exercises, case work, dialogue and practical experimentation. This multimodal design supports multiple learning styles: visual, auditory, tactile and kinaesthetic (see, hear, touch, do) ensuring inclusive and effective learning for diverse participants.

Transformative and Experiential Learning

Our methodology draws strongly on principles of transformative learning, focusing on how adults revise underlying assumptions and perspectives through critical reflection and dialogue. We create reflective frameworks that encourage participants to question habitual patterns of thinking and behaviour, enabling deeper shifts in leadership identity and professional practice.

Equally central is experiential learning. Learning at Novaro happens through action, experience and subsequent reflection. Our programmes typically unfold over several weeks, allowing participants to continuously integrate theory with practice. Between sessions, participants apply new insights directly within their organisational contexts, returning with lived experiences that become the foundation for further learning. This iterative process strengthens transfer, relevance and long-term impact.

Learning Across Taxonomic Levels

Our programmes are designed to engage learners across multiple taxonomic levels from knowledge and comprehension to application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. Participants do not merely acquire concepts, they actively apply tools, analyse real organisational challenges, co-create solutions and critically evaluate outcomes.
